Beach Day at Port Burwell

|Details:|| As always, it is tradition to show up at the beach at Port Burwell Provincial Park! However, Canada Day this year falls on a Sunday, so we will be meeting on Monday, July 2, 2007.
Generally all meet at the beach closest to Parking Lot 1 at the park.
There is no real schedule to this thing. However, usually the beach in the afternoon, dinner somewhere (be it Alymer, Tillsonburg, or Port Burwell) and then fireworks at night.

Directions: From the East: (Toronto, Hamilton, etc)Get on the 401, either way, and take Highway 19 south at exit 218. Head south through Tillsonburg, and across Highway 3. Highway 19 then turns into County Rd. 19. Once you enter Port Burwell, follow the signs to the park. The beach entrance is about 500m past the campground entrance, and will be on your right.
From the West: (London, St. Thomas, Sarnia) Exit at Highway 4 (Exit 98 on Highway 402, Exit 177 on Highway 401) Take Highway 4 south to Highway 3. Take Highway 3 East through St. Thomas, Alymer. Past Alymer, signage will indicate Port Burwell Provincial Park. Take a right at Heritage Line, also known as Elgin County Rd. 38. Turn Right at Highway 19 in Straffordville, turn right heading south. Once you enter Port Burwell, follow the signs to the park. The beach entrance is about 500m past the campground entrance, and will be on your right.
